AiHomeCloud ("we", "our", or "us") is a self-hosted home NAS app. The Android app connects only to a server you set up and control — your own device on your local network, or reached remotely via your own Tailscale network. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
AiHomeCloud does not operate any servers of its own and does not collect personal data for advertising or analytics. The app handles the following data, all of which is sent only to the server you set up — never to AiHomeCloud's developer or any third party:
AiHomeCloud includes no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK. All network connections from the app go directly to the server you configured, over a connection secured with TLS and certificate pinning. AiHomeCloud's developer does not operate and has no access to your server or its data.
The app requests storage/media permissions to browse and upload files from your device, and network permissions (WiFi state, network discovery) to find and connect to your own server on your local network. None of this is used for tracking.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. There are no advertising SDKs, and no analytics or crash reporting services in this app.
All app data — your account, media library, and Telegram configuration — is stored on the server you control, not by AiHomeCloud's developer. You can delete it at any time using the app's own Factory Reset feature, or by removing the data directly from your server. AiHomeCloud's developer holds no copy of this data and cannot delete it on your behalf.
AiHomeCloud is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
